बालहक्क सप्ताहानिमित्त विविध उपक्रमांचे आयोजन

    १४ नोव्हेंबर हा दिवस देशभरात बालदिन म्हणून साजरा केला जातो, तर संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघाने २० नोव्हेंबर हा दिवस आंतरराष्ट्रीय बाल दिवस म्हणून घोषित केलेला आहे. १४ ते २० नोव्हेंबर बालहक्क सप्ताहानिमित्त पुणे शहरामध्ये बालहक्क कृती समितीतर्फे विविध उपक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. बालहक्कांचे संरक्षण व प्रसार यासाठी गेल्या तीस वर्षांपासून समिती कार्यरत आहे. यावर्षी १८ वर्षांखालील बालकांच्या कलागुणांना प्रोत्साहन देण्याच्या दृष्टीने दि. १४ ते १८ नोव्हेंबर या कालावधीत बालगंधर्व कलादालन, जंगली महाराज रोड, पुणे येथे विविध कलाकृतींचे प्रदर्शन आयोजित करण्यात आले आहे. सकाळी १० ते संध्याकाळी ६ वाजेपर्यंत सर्वांसाठी हे प्रदर्शन खुले राहील. पुण्याच्या विविध भागातील वस्ती पातळीवरील व शाळांमधील मुला-मुलींनी काढलेली चित्रे, तसेच पर्यावरण व प्रदूषण या विषयाशी संबंधित काही छायाचित्रे याठिकाणी पहावयास उपलब्ध असतील. बालहक्कांचा इतिहास व सद्यस्थिती, तसेच बालकांच्या संरक्षण व सहभागासाठी योगदान देण्याच्या विविध संधींबाबत याठिकाणी माहिती मिळू शकेल. तसेच, या कालावधीमध्ये विविध स्वयंसेवी संस्थांच्या सहकार्यातून वस्तीपातळीवरील मुलांसाठी राष्ट्रीय फिल्म संग्रहालय (नॅशनल फिल्म अर्काईव्ह ऑफ इंडीया) येथे काही आंतरराष्ट्रीय व प्रसिद्ध चित्रपटांचे विशेष प्रदर्शन (स्क्रिनिंग) आयोजित करण्यात आले आहे. यानिमित्ताने मुला-मुलींना जागतिक स्तरावरील विषय व त्यांची सिनेमाच्या माध्यमातून मांडणी याविषयी जाणून घेण्याची संधी मिळणार आहे. याव्यतिरिक्त, नागरी सुविधा व समस्यांबाबत युवकांचा प्रशासकीय अधिकाऱ्यांशी संवाद व इतर संस्था पातळीवरील उपक्रमांचे देखील आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. बालमजुरी व बालविवाहासारख्या अनिष्ट प्रथांचे उच्चाटन, अत्याचार व शोषणापासून बालकांचे संरक्षण, आणि सर्वांसाठी गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षण, अशी उद्दीष्टे घेऊन बालहक्क कृती समिती काम करत आहे. समितीच्या कामात सहभागी होण्यासाठी व अधिक माहितीसाठी संपर्क - सुशांत आशा, समन्वयक, बालहक्क कृती समिती, पुणे 7066138138, arcpune09@gmail.com

Activities on the occasion of Child Rights Week

    November 14 is celebrated as Children's Day across the country, while the United Nations has declared November 20 as International Children's Day. Action for the Rights of the Child (ARC) Network has organized various activities in Pune city on the occasion of Child Rights Week from 14th to 20th November. The network has been working for the protection and promotion of child rights for the past thirty years. This year, in order to promote the talents of children under 18 years of age, an exhibition of various works of art has been organized at Balgandharva Art Gallery, Jangali Maharaj Road, Pune from 14th to 18th November. The exhibition will be open for all from 10 am to 6 pm. Drawings and paintings made by children from different parts of Pune, and some photographs related to the environment and pollution will be displayed here. The visitors will also find here information about the history and current status of child rights, as well as various opportunities to contribute to the protection and participation of children. Also, during this period, a special screening of some international and famous films has been organized at the National Film Archive of India for children from various communities, in collaboration with various NGOs in Pune. On this occasion, children will get an opportunity to learn about global issues and their presentation through cinema. In addition, interaction of youth with administrative authorities regarding civic amenities and issues and other organization level activities are also being organized. The ARC network is working towards the eradication of harmful practices like child labour and child marriage, ensuring protection of children from abuse and exploitation, and quality education for all.
